Crabtree & Evelyn launches Himalayan Blue Fragrance Collection

Crabtree & Evelyn has launched a new Himalayan Blue Fragrance Collection that captures a legend of undiscovered beauty. Inspired by the early British explorers, the Himalayan Blue Fragrance Collection takes you into the heart of the Himalayas, tracing their search for the exquisite mythical blue poppy.

The essence of the Himalayas is captured in a fresh, citrusy top note of crisp mandarin, orange leaf and a hint of lemon. The heart of the fragrance is composed of ginger, reflecting the warmth of the journey, and a combination of delicate rose absolute, pink pepper, Himalayan golden champaca blossoms, and wildflowers to suggest the mesmerising backdrop. A smoky base note of lapsong souchong and sandalwood is reminiscent of the sultry seduction of the mountains, with a leather accord providing a subtle reminder of the creaky saddles and antique bridles that belonged to those early explorers.

Presented in a beautiful pearlised bottle, Himalayan Blue alludes to the ethereal landscape of the Himalayas and the thrill of first encounters. A silver flower charm fastened around the neck of the bottle represents the fabled Himalayan blue poppy discovered by the British explorers, and the front and cap of the bottle mirror the intoxicatingly deep blue shade of this rare exotic bloom.

The Himalayan Blue Fragrance Collection is a treasure trove of indulgence that includes an eau de toilette (EDT), bath and shower gel, body lotion and hand therapy. While the fragrance evokes secret, undiscovered places, the body and hand care uses natural ingredients inspired by the Himalayas to care, smooth, and scent through a combination of antioxidant-rich green tea oil, moisturising shea butter, and a conditioning blend of ginger and champaca extracts.

The EDT is R650 for 100ml, the Bath and Shower Gel is R280 for 200ml, the Body Lotion is R300 for 200ml, the Hand Therapy is R280 for 100g and R70 for 25g.
