Local skin care manufacturer Lamelle Research Laboratories recently launched its new digital magazine, Lapelle. As much as I love print, I’m also really into the digital realm (read: I’m a big nerd who loves to play on her laptop). In fact, with my background in magazines, it’s an area I really want to move into myself.
I’ve tried a few digital mags before but have to say that Lapelle really is easy to use. It’s designed in such a way that you get an intro to a bunch of topics and can then click on icons for more information. There are also loads of competitions that you can click through to for entry – simple and easy.
The e-zine allows you to browse through its pages, view videos and interact with nearly everything you see. There’s also a handy “How to Navigate lapelle” piece on the contents page.
Content isn’t just about promoting Lamelle – there’s loads of useful info as well which makes it much nicer than just reading a simple product brochure. There’s also an icon you can click on to “Ask the Experts”.
I really love the new Lapelle and hope others to do. It’s a great example of what you can do when you take your company into the digital marketing sphere.
