New Me and My Ice-cream range from Essence

How cute is the new range of Me and My Ice-cream from Essence? They’re probably the most affordable, good quality brand available at Clicks and release so many cute collections that they’ve quickly become a staple in my make-up collection.

The Me & My Ice-cream range will be available in Clicks stores nationwide from March to May this year so if you’re a fan of pastels, best get a move on. The brand is so popular that the collections usually sell out at the smaller stores really quickly. This time, it’s inspired by an old-school ice-cream bar feel with lots of pretty pastels in beige, pink, lavender, mint, apricot and vanilla. The baked eyeshadows (at just under R40 each) have sweet names like cone head, icylicious and always in the mint. I’m quite keen to try out the lip balms – they contain jojoba oil and shea butter to condition and moisturise, but also have subtle colour combinations like lavender-vanilla, apricot-beige and pink-mint. They’re also super cheap at just R40 a pop. And if you live in Joburg, you know. Winter is coming.

There is also an apricot cream blush (R40) and shimmer pearls for a soft glow (R45). I think the products I’m most excited about, however, are the nail polishes (R25) in pink, mint, lavender and apricot, and the little pack of hand wipes (R17). The packaging for the wipes is very girly and easy enough to pop into your handbag or desk drawer.

Have you tried the range yet? What do you think?
